Artist Background

Sally Duhig is a Brisbane artist and teacher of painting and drawing.  Her current paintings explore the linear aspects of treescapes.

Noosa Everglades Trees is from an ongoing series of trees and water which Duhig has been exploring since 2006.  Providing a respite to urban life, Lake Cootharaba and the Noosa Everglades are places she continually returns to.

Her other paintings are figurative explorations of women's fascination for cakes.
