Fergus Binns Nalanji Dreaming

Nalangi + Dreaming, (diptych) 2 panels 90 x 60cm each, oil on board, Market Value: $4500

Fergus Binns took out the 2008 Metro 5 Judges Award, the richest art prize in Australia for artists under 35 for his work 'Mount Kosciusko with receding snow dome'.

The Australian landscape features in Fergus' work and investigates the way people, places, the environment and art contribute to the creation of culture. Inspired by the media, popular culture and Australian history and politics, he regularly uses iconic imagery and cultural signs to create potent images that cross-examine aspects of Australian society.
